should I target feed them, what do they prefer and how often. you would think there should be a sticky in this section for care.

I feed mushrooms whatever I feed my other chalices a mixture of phytoplankton mysis fauna marin lps coral frenzy caviar and bloodworms I mix it all up and pull out the baster

Thanks!! They are my first venture into corals, other than the Toad stools that came on my live rock. i've done some research but could not find any thing spacific to feed them.

Yea mushrooms are one of the hardiest corals to keep just keep em down on the bottom of tank with low flow they will do fine its the very colorful ones you have to be careful with and what I mean by that is to keep the colors in some of these mushrooms isn't that easy I feed every other day and just watch em grow gl

I have Discoma muchrooms, that I never feed and they multiply all the time!

I guess different 'schrooms' have different needs.

Some mushrooms are photosynthetic(don't eat at all, make food from photosynthetic algae), some in the other hand will eat shrimp meat. I feed the meat eating shrooms minced shrimp along with the ricordeas and the photosynthetic ones I feed them liquified nutrients commonly available in bottles.

Lighting will produce sufficient food for your shrooms. Once they get acclimated and if they happy they will multiply quickly.
