I got myself excited with the idea of an Arrow Crab...but then I read that they can be pretty nasty to urchins and I am pretty fond of my Long Spine. I also have:
cleaner shrimp
Fox face
Small chromis
Copperband bf

Not much for my 80 gallon... What would you guys recommend?

Yeah don't know about the urchin those should be fine.. but they get enormous and can kill sleeping fish. These are one are those crabs you'd want to sump.. which you can do if you have enough room and really want one. I had mine for awhile until he ate a chromis and grew too large for my sump.

You don't want any kind of large crab in with fish. Do you have a refugium or big sump you could put him in?
What kind of suggestions are you looking for... Invert ones? Porcelain crabs are filter-feeders that are harmless to everything but copepods.
You could try a flame angel, perhaps...
How about a watchman goby/pistol shrimp pair?
Out of curiosity, how is your copperband butterfly doing? How long have you had it?

I think Porcelain Crabs are pretty cool some need anemones others don't they re also fish friendly because the filter feed. Red fire shrimp are also cool not sure if you have room for both cleaner shrimp and fire shrimp though.

Speckled purple/pinkish porcelain crabs (ones that look like actual pottery) are usually the ones that don't need anemones.

I like the idea of a goby/pistol shrimp combo... I'm going to explore that.

I've had the copperband about 2 months. It is doing great but only really eating black worms. I set up a little black worm keeper so I always have some on hand. It was in pretty rough shape at first...looked like it had some parasites on its fins soon after I got it. But once it started eating that cleared up and now the fish looks great.

I just wish it would east the aiptasia!!

I have 2 of the speckled purple porcelain crabs. They are always out somewhere filtering the the current. And they could care less about my anemone. My sexy shrimp on the other hand love the nem.
