What should I treat my Tang with? (pics)

I started treating it with Pimafix when it's fins started turning red. Then the sores appeared on it's mouth & fin, so I switched to melafix. These don't seem to be working very well. Is there anything better I should be treating it with?

leave it alone, don't stress it out, try to improve water quality, as long as it's eating and good water quailty I think it will recover.

You can add a little of the fins/mouth fungus medicine. Increase if it gets worst. tangs are hard to treat, they very sentitive to medication. I would put this tang into my sump.

Neither of those medications will help much. Is there any ammonia in the water? Make sure the water quality is good and switch to using a good antibiotic. Furanase, Nitrofurazone or maybe Maracyn-Two (double dose for M2).

Well, that's what I get for listening to the lfs.. I went & bought the medicine recommended above this morning. Unfortunately my Tang died about 2 hrs after I got home. I guess I should have came here 1st instead of asking the guy at the fish store.

Rarely get good fish disease advice at a LFS. I knew it was serious. Sorry the fish didn't make it.
