What should my ORP be at?

As the title states...

According to this article in RK by RHF... http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2006-04/rhf/index.php#15

It should be in the mid 200's to mid 300's as far as a range goes. Think this is good?

According to my Neptune ORP probe on my ACIII it is 141 mV but seems to be slowly climbing.

I would shoot for mid to high 300s. I would stay below 400 though. I have mine targeted for 375.

Is your probe new? If so it takes a good week or so before it settles to an acurate reading.

It is brand new out of the box. After doing some reading from Neptune they do have a so called 'break-in' period.

I'll give it a week or two and we'll see what it says.

When I first plugged it in it read 113 and is now up to 146 and is slowly rising.

My probe took 2 weeks to give an acurate reading. I keep my orp at 380.

It will keep rising for about 2 weeks. Then when it's up to about 400, pat yourself on the back for your awesome husbandry skills, relish it for a moment, then soak in vinegar for 1/2 hour. It will drop to about 300 give or take a little. You'll need to do that about once a week.
