I recently aquired an orange spotted goby (Amblyeleotris guttata). I'd like to add a pistol shrimp because I think the behavior of the pair would be interesting to watch. Base on what I have read, this species of goby pairs with Alpheus ochrostriatus in the wild, but I haven't seen this shrimp for sale anywhere, just the tiger or red-banded. Would the orange spotted goby pair with either of these species? Seems like several folk on RC have this fish species with a tiger pistol shrimp, but I am concerned since this shrimp seems like it can be more aggressive. I'd rather not have the pistol shrimp limit future stocking.
