what size heater should i get

i have a 95 g tank and im getting a sump that is
25-1/2" x 13-3/4" x 17" and i want to put the heater in the sump now what size should i get should i get one that is rated for a 95+ g tank or smaller a smaller one because its going to be in the sump

I am only using a 300w Visitherm for my 125g. Probably should use a second one for backup purposes.

You want them overpowered a bit so they turn on, do their thing, and turn off. Get two so one can run if the other fails.

I'm putting 2 150's in my 90. Heaters usually fail in the ON position. A single 300 watt heater stuck on in my tank would boil it in short order. It'll take a 150 a lot longer to raise the temp to a dangerous level

Of course, if you get a controller you don't have to worry about it.
