What size tank

I've been thinking on getten a few dwarf seahorses and have a 29 biocube , but also plan on building a drop tank 48x30 at the deep end should be around 100 gal when done , would this tank be to big ? Is the biocube ideal for seahorses ?

The biocube is too big for dwarfs. They do better in small as in 5g or less. The 29g biocube could work for a pair of the big seahorses.

General recommendations for the standard sized seahorses like reidi, kuda, erectus is 29g for the first pair and then an extra 15g for each additional pair.
Oversized filtration and extremely oversized skimming helps even more.

No, dwarfs need high food density as they prefer to sit perched waiting for their food to pass by close enough for them to snick it up.
It would require and inordinate amount of enriched bbs to give an appropriate density, making for drastic waste of the artemia. The standard seahorses won't be bothered with food so small.
Also, the flow rates of the standard seahorses would not be good for dwarfs.
Probably if I took the time to think about it, there would be a lot more reasons.
