What size tank?

OK, I stand corrected. Nice link Nick.

I would still suggest caution with these fish, but thats just me...

Interesting info on the arctic pods. I had not heard of this food. Has anyone tried them on horses?

Fred

Artic pods have not worked IME for seahorses, or pipefish. Have not tried it with seahorse fry. I think nutritionally it would be good, but do not know if they will go after it or not.

Artic Pods is put out by Reed mariculture, the same ones who make tigerpods and pytofeast. The pods are larger then the tigers, harvested from the artic ocean, and a red color. They lie in the fridge just fine, don't seem to make it in the tank long.

JME.

ya, some type of liquid. Salt water I presume, though I have no desire to taste test. (It's how I test my tank too) The actual pods are red. It's kinda crazy. Seahorses and pipefish are the only fish I have not seen take these readily. I had a small potter's leapord wrasse juvie (species geofforey) that loved them, they are one of the more finky eating fish.

I think it's a good product IME. I love Reedmariculture though. There Phytofeast is also great. Not sure if you can get them up there Fred, there based in California.

Because they are so stunning they can be.

You can oreder dircetly from Reedmariculture.com down here, not sure if they ship there.

I can order direct, but their stuff dosn't ship very well unrefrigerated. I remember some studies done a few years back. At room temperature, they algae paste looses a lot of its nutritional value in the first two days.

I would love to get some of their phyto feast for brine enrichment, but...

Fred

They shipped to me overnight with icepacks. Everything arrived fine. It was hot here that week too, in the 80'sF. Just sayin it worked for me.

The corals love the phyto feast. No more D.T's for me.
