What size to upgrade too...

Hello all I'm wanting to upgrade tank sizes again... I have four tanks here to use but can't decide on which way I want to go .... The first tank is a 3'x2'x16" tall standard braced truvu.. Second tank is a 4'x2'x20"tall standard braced truvu... Third is 4'x3'x2'tall eurobraced custom... Last tank is 4'x20"x16" tall standard braced s&s .....

I have 2 lumenarc minis that it looks like might be up for trade for full size lumenarcs if this upgrade happens..

What size tank would give the most options for aquascaping? I want to be able to use just the 2 lights if possible.. I don't want to have ot add another if I can help it.. If the minis will be enough will be a plus but if not I'll start looking for some full sized ones.. I have two small er skimmers right now a 5-2 and a 6-1.. Could I just use both in the sump? Would it be enough of a skimmer to handle the 200+ gallon load of the largest of my spare tanks? Or should I go with one of the 60 or 100g tanks to optimize my lighting and skimming options?

Give me your recommendations and reasons for choosing that particular tank.. Thanks all appreciate the input....

If you have the room for it, I say the bigger the better. I'd use the 4'x3'x2'tall. It will reduce the need of another upgrade in the near future. Full size lumenarcs should be close to good enough, but depeninding on your aquascape, it might be enough to cover all the areas with coral.

I've never had lucj with using 2 skimmers. One will do the grunt of the work and the other will just produce bubbles and heat. Sell the 2 smaler skimmers and get one larger one.

I'd have to say go with the biggest you can. It will prevent the "upgrade itch" from happening again. Even after getting my 75, starting to think I should have went with the 100. But I''m not upgrading again after all I had to go through for the 75 =).

If you have 2 skimmers, you can try to sell them off and buy 1 larger one. Just a thought.

Good luck with whatever you choose. Keep us posted.

Thanks for the suggestion Mike :) I actually have two sawzalls sitting right here along with a skilsaw and a big tube of gorilla glue to reassemble with.. :)
