So I have been thinking about and reading up on SH for some time now...
after the move and in a couple months I am going to start it up!

this will be my only tank and was thinking of 2 pair of Redei with SH save low light low needs corals like shrooms zoas etc. maybe a pep. shrimp and some marcos.

down the road I may add a fire fish or other SH safe fish.

so all that said what size would you do and why? if you were to redo your setup what size would you do?

somtime I like the hex and then other times I don't, not enough room for me.
any way just fishing for thoughts experience or any feedback...
Cheers

I would probably setup a 75 gal tank with a sump. Big enough to add enough rock and yet still have a macro field. Still have room to add some seahorse safe corals and a couple of seahorse safe fish. I find when the seahorses get close to their full size potential, they use all the space in the tank and it doesn't appear understocked.

thanks for the thoughts guys. I know it's one of those questions that only I can answer base on space $$ and other factors.

yeah I was thinking of a RR 75 with a fuge/sump. I like the 4 foot thanks better than the cubes they seam to have more space to aqua scape. however the rimless cubes do look sharp and clean.
do you think a standard 55 gal would be to small?

A 55 would not be to small, I just like the depth of the 75 with it being 6 inches more wider and the extra space.
