what skimmer should I get?!

I'm currently running a slim skim rated for up to 60g on my 30g cube. I'm also in the process of building a custom sump for my tank and I'm thinking of upgrading my skimmer. I found awesome deals on the Aqua C Urchin and a bubble magus. $60!!!! Used of course. Which would you guys recommend?

stay away from the aqua c really i hear alot of bad things about them. i would not skim on the skimmer. haha sorry anyway.

its such an important piece of equipment. you get what you pay for in this hobby. sometimes things are over priced for sure. but the middle of the road tried and true equipment is the stuff to get. reef octopus is the only in sump skimmer i buy. they are the right price and you get great quality and customer service. they do a great job. just IMO and IME octopus is the way to go.

Thanks zombiereefer, I really want a reef octopus but I feel that a slimmer rated for 100g on my 30g +15g sump would be a bit overkill... :/

they have some nano skimmers as well. i just got a tunze in tank skimmer. the 9004 and its working great. im really impressed withit. and it was only 150$ check it out

yeah its an intank u can use it in ur sump. but idk i guess just look around. u can buy the used ones. maybe think about why they are selling them

imo all reputable skimmers are good. it's just a matter of personal perference in brand and looks. Tunze is a great brand, powerful skimmers with small footprint but expensive.
