What SPS is this?

Hey all. Is this a staghorn coral? I was sure it was. Someone else thought otherwise. It always has excellent polyp extension, more than I see in some of the staghorn pics. Also, notice the bleached area on the base of the second picture? I had handled it there when it needed to be reattached to the plug. But I hear people also talk of RTN... I honestly can't tell you how long it's been like this, but I did first see it about a week ago, and it hasn't seemed to progress.

Thanks, as always...

looks like a seriatopora caliendrum.
I don't like the white atch at the bottom. Watch it . It may stop spreading. If it spreads cut it off going about a qaurter inch into tissue that looks healthy.

Thanks all!

Tom, indeed, it is S. caliendrum. Good ID. I have treated with Iodine dip (Coral Medic, Brightwell Aq.), and will keep a close eye on it. If nothing else, it will give 2 nice sized frags.

Thanks for your help, will keep posted on progress!
