R robert125381 New member May 11, 2016 #7 I screwed up and used a fine caribsea sand with a larger gain sand also caribsea brand and it looks terrible! how would you go about removing the bahamas oolite just vacum it out and replace it?

Click to expand... Yes you can siphon it out. I would only remove a third of the sand at a time, waiting a week between replacements
