What the heck is Duncanopsammia axifuga??

It's just an LPS coral. They are 'rare' in the US because they are found around Australila. One or two mother colonies are out there and frags are starting to make their way into the hands of collectors over the past year or two.

Thanks Norman. :)
ORA grew and distributed a few pieces of these a couple years ago, but nothing since then. They called it the whiskers coral.
They're very similar to dendrophyllias, except duncanopsammia is photosynthetic.

And no, I don't have any frags for sale/trade, so please no PMs about it. :)

Please don't think I'm blowing you off. I'm just swamped right now. I'll email yah :D

You definitly knew  I ended up buying several different corals, thanks for the tip ;)

I know shipping, and belive me, Serdar does a VERY good job on shipping livestock....very good online experience for me :D

serdar is a good guy. I saw the colony yesterday and it is looking really good. I told him I wanted a polyp. He said he wanted to let it grow for a few weeks due to a recent frag taken from it. Told him yeah I know I refered him to you, lol. Just let me know on the stuff you and I talked about in the PM.
