How can you get aiptasia in a tank that no live rock was bought from an lfs? I used base rock. I presently don't have aiptasia....can buying corals from an lfs cause an outbreak?

Everyone gets these things . all you can do is fight them... Right now i have them in my tank again... but not a lot...

once everything is cycled look into buying a peppermint shrimp or 2. they'll assist you in ridding apstasia from the system.

Got 2 Peppermint shrimp for my issues. Was gone in a week. Now the peppermint shrimp enjoy a life of retirement and try to make sure they eat well.

Get an Aiptasia Eating Filefish!
I have one in my tank and he made SHORT WORK of mine- wiped it out COMPLETELY!

Joes juice is a great item, and it takes care of it within 24 hours, and you only need to use a tiny bit of it. Good luck!
