I have no sympathy. Try being a member since 2004 (that didn't post much) and deciding to jump into the hobby in Feb of 2013 and having to still deal with the same post count requirement, lol.

Why? Because its a slight inconvenience to you? 10 posts isn't exactly a lot, and the reasons for that being in place (mainly to prevent PM spammers) helps tremendously.
