More important question is why do you browse fish for sale online in a private browser? Lol
Don't worry I do it too, and I use VPN.

They're not buying it for what it looks like now but what it will look like some day. Still don't understand the price though, can't you buy a wild caught adult for much less than that?

With ultra rare Angels, the price is inverse to the size. Being at two inches I guess adds a premium.

I think adult specimens are cool looking, but still not worthy of the price, IMO. There are better looking Angels to be had for much cheaper, like the Regal or Emperor. Interruptus Angels go for around the same price as the Conspic, but at least look closer to how much they cost.

Because it's also CB. That adds a premium. Now you are talking hardier, and already QTd/conditioned which means no liability other than your own faults.

There's also less likelihood it will eat corals given that it has been reared on everything but corals and no taste developed.
Now we know there is inherent instincts for it to eat corals but will be less likely given it's rearing.
My CB personatus angel is a beast of a fish and she is awesome. Ate everything right out of the bag and has not ever shown ich despite it being in my DT

All I can say is I applaud those who are breeding these and other rare angels, so that maybe one day the regular person maybe able to own one.

Like anything else the first ones pay for the R & D. In time hopefully prices will be lowered. The fact someone is rasing these is unbelievable

They were awesome at MACNA. They had Conspics (3 of them) Blue Lines and Singapores (below). They have another 8-10 or so in their catalog. I think he told me that Singapores were ~100, which is not bad. Plus they eat!

Does anyone know the full list of angels that Poma Labs ended up breeding? 9 species?

I got the catalog at MACNA, but it is at home.

I do know they do these:
Conspic
Blue spotted angel
Blue lined angel
Black Velvet angel
Blue-lined X Black velvet angel
False personifer
Singapore

I have several pictures of these also, I was just thinking to myself while taking pictures that this was the most expensive tank at Macna?

So are there yet to be released angels, or was the count I read wrong?

I think they have more. I left my catalog at home. The above list was from their web site. I think the catalog has others.
