what the!?

i was pulling some hair algae out of my tank, when i saw some sort of white stuff being sprayed from one of the rocks. I tried looking at the rock to see if i could see anything down there at would, but i didnt see anything.

it was only visible for about 5 seconds before is dissolved into the water, anyone have any clue what it could have been?

It was probably a snail spawning fairly common and good food for the other creatures
