What time to add fish?

Hi. I have a Copperbanded butterfly coming in. What is everyone's opinion on what time of day to add a fish to a tank. Should it be done with the lights on or off?
I am adding to a 500 gallon tank, with 5 tangs, yellow blue and sailfin, a mystery and 4 line wrasse, potters angel and 5 purple anthias, and a couple of clowns.

Good luck with the copperband. I always add fish to my DT after the lights go out for the day. I believe in most cases their will be less aggression adding fish at night. However its easy for me to do it at night because I quarantine my fish for 4 to 6 weeks in a separate tank. If you don't quarantine your fish I guess you would have to add to the DT at whatever time you recieved the fish.
