Well my tank right now has only 2 small juvenile clowns and cuc. I want to add another fish to put into qt. Would a a blue or yellow tang be OK with the clowns?

If now what would be some.suggestions?

if you have a 113 a yellow tang should be ok. not the blue tang. they get a foot long and require 8' 240 gallons. otherwise, get some wrasses, like flasher wrasses, a midas blenny, or a royal gramma. just be sure to get a lid/screen top because they are all jumpers.

It's much better to plan the whole list of fish first, and then add them slowly in order of aggressiveness. I'd figure out what you want the finish tank to be, rather than deciding one at a time.

+1 !!! This is really good advice to follow. You may made a decision that will heavily limit your additions after.

Some good choices though are some of the wrasses, Royal Gramma, gobies/blennies, cardinals.

Is your system reef or FOWLR because that will also change some of the options you have.

A flame angel (other other dwarf angel) could be possible but would require it to be one of the later additions.

I would suggest going to LiveAquaria's website and looking through their fish and then come back with a wishlist of the ones you really like that have the tank requirements you have in terms of size of tank. This will let everyone help you on the whole list.

LiveAquaria will let you filter by tank size, reef safe, how aggressive, as well as many other things so it is a great place to start.
