Not a lot of info to go on, but who cares what color your algae filter is? Isn't the point of hiding the plants in a filter to not see (or care) what they look like? It looks like you have good growth and plenty to export. Be happy.
Maybe head over to the advance topics sub-forum and ask your question there.

Because the color tells you what the water nutrients are, and what growing conditions are needed to filter.
So what does this tell you about your "water nutrients, and what growing conditions are needed to filter"?

Well that photo show good levels of nitrate and phosphate but limited iron.
Also, your mac & cheese levels look a little high.

No problem, some pan-fried bacon, chopped and mixed in, will even it out.
