what to buy when starting a 2.5

just wondering what kind of things you bought when you started your 2.5 or just a nano in general
lights
pumps
how much lr/ls
heater
and anything else you bought besides corals....thanks

i use the smallest aquaclear filter on my tank for circulation and a refugium. i think you can get them from petsmart by printing off the sheet off of their web site for under $20. creates good flow, can hold the heater so it's out of the display, can hold extra rock rubble, and is clear so light can shine through for chaeto.

i'd go with about 3lbs or lr - small pieces and then 1lb or so of rubble for a refugium.

don't forget salt and RO water.

I have the coralife mini light 2 x 9w.
I'm using a RIO 600 for my return.
I have about 3-4# of LR in tank and about 1# in the fuge.
And I have a 25w heater.
Thermometer, hydrometer or refractometer.

Don't forget a master test kit !
