I just got a Sedra 2500 pinwheel pump that I’m going to use on my bakpak on my 15g. The pump just arrived and it is huge. I really don't want to put that big of a pump into my 15g - that's going to take up a lot of space.
I have a 2.5g acrylic tank 10hx10wx6d. I'm thinking I could use this as a waterfall sump (pump water up into this 2.5g let it drain into an 8g refugium that I have and have that drain back into my tank. I could put the pump and skimmer hanging off this 2.5g tank - what do you think about this idea?
Any other ideas? I can't have a true sump where my tank is located.
