I recently had a flood and and one of my stream 6000s got wet. Both the transformer and the driver are not working I tried them each with an oppisite from a working unit and nothing. So what next are they fixable or will I just have to replace them?

TIA

Unfortunately these components have to be replaced. I would extend you a discount but they are still not cheap. Are you sure the transformer was ruined? These are water proof and while it is possible the shorted driver overloaded the transformer this is not a very common occurence. If you tested right after the incident it may have been off due to overheating and now that it has cooled it should have reset if it wasn't in this way for a long time.

Well since they have to be replaced I opened up the driver case and sure enough there is a quarter sized burn mark on the curcuit board. I also tried the transformer again and nothing:( The flood actually happened about a week ago and I just let the electronics sit since then.

So where so I get the new parts from?

Thanks
Casey
