What to feed a Kenya Tree

I recently bought a Kenya Tree frag after some reasearch and i have heard mixed reviews on what to feed. I have hear phyto and Dt's. Just wondering what would be better. I am in the process of aquiring some xenia and other softies and would like a good all around food for everyone. Any advise?

I have a Kenya tree in my tank that I've never "fed" anything and it's tripled in size in 8 months. It just gets good light and current. Front and center:

I've got some in my Tank and do fine. I never dirrect feed it but feed the tank Cyclopeeze and Phytoplankton every other day.

All you have to feed it is salt water, these guys are the rabbits of the ocean. just be aware that they will frag on there own like aptaisia, a 1/4 inch peice will break off and float around the tank until it grabs anything it can and the cycle continues. I find them stuck to the side of my clams, side of power heads, lps corals, remember once you have a kenya tree you allways have kenya trees.

I've never feed my Kenya Tree anything and it grows like a weed. Just give it light.

On another note.... Freakin awesome tank seapug!!!

Glad to hear that!
The yellow with orange centers is LPS - Tubastrea or Sun coral. Tubastrea can be pure lemon yellow, black (dark-green) or bright red. If you can search RC (or use advanced Google search) - there are excellent pictures of the red, the best one.
They require feeding, twice weekly, couple of frozen mysis cubes - will add bioload to the tank. But are really bright.
