What to feed eel?

Should I feed my eel raw shrimp or cooked shrimp ?

Raw. Along with a variety of other raw foods - squid, scallops, etc.

I feed my eel silversides, krill (not freeze dried), scallops, squid, shrimp. I try to mix it up. But the favorite is squid. But the being said, the eel eats anything that I wave in front of him on my forceps.

Maybe this is why my eel hasn't been eating, I've been trying to feed him cooked shrimp from public, gonna get some raw shrimp today and see

Cooked shrimp losses all of the nutrients that are good for the eel. Anything raw it must be raw and I'm sure he will eat it

I've used cut up SW bait shrimp and eels (E. nebulosa and G. tile) go nuts for that stuff. I've been trying to vary the diet, but they aren't too fond of squid, especially the SFE, which I haven't had too long

Give it time. Once I caught a small squid and took it home and my snowflake snatched it out of the water column.

the SFE eats the squid, but doesn't go after it with gusto the way it does with shrimp and silversides, and it doesn't eat as actively as the G. tile which usually outcompetes it for food.
