What to place under tank?

So while I've been busy working and collecting parts for my build I've neglected one it the most important parts. SoI need advice ASAP. What do I put between the tank and the stand. Styrofoam the best option? Where can I get a piece big enough to cover an area of 84x30"?

I've always used styrofoam. I've seen tanks with some sort of rubber mat, but I don't know which is better. You can get a giant sheet of styrofoam at Home Depot

On another note how thick should I go? It's going to be a heavy tank. All glass.

First I'd ask your tank builder what they recommend.

Doesnt matter what side up ....depends if its a sump and you want to see the writing or shiny silver foil .....if sand bottom in a tank silver foil color will be covered anyway although if your sand gets blown away you may not want to see that writing either

Thanks matt. Went with the white up. Already cut and waiting on the heavy a $ $ tank to lay on it. LOL.
