What to treat qt fish

Hey guys I'm going to be setting up a qt tank for the new fish I'm going to be getting. I was wondering what medication to use right when I put them in the tank. Are there any medications I'm supposed to use before I notice any signs of diseases? Also can I mix medications?

I think using Prazipro is a good idea because it treats gill flukes, and symptoms for that can be subtle. I also feel the same about marine ich and advocate prophylactically treating for that as well. The choices are: copper treatment or chloroquine phosphate for 1 month; or tank transfer method, which only takes 13 days to complete. The latter is a non-chemical solution for ich, and IMO the best option available.
