What type of coral is this?

I bought this about a month ago and its doing great but I cant find any info on it. It was sold as a finger coral but anytime I try and look that up it pulls up finger leathers and it doesn't look anything like that. Any help would be great.

Is Kenya tree and colt coral the same thing? I have some like this that was sold to me as colt coral. Don't get this near a power head or it will grow all over your tank!!!

They can look similiar, but IME kenya tree corals will be abrasive to the touch while colt corals are slimy. As far as the scientific names go, I think a kenya tree coral is a Capnella while a colt coral is a Alcyonium.

Yup, it a kenya tree............... when it grows a little bit more it will start to drop branches from it which will start to grow and the process will continue. I started with 2 trees (3-4" tall) and in three mths i have over 50 of them now about 1" tall. They flow around in the current and just grow like crazy.
