What type of flow for a 33L

The tank is 48x12x12 and need some powerheads...

I was thinking of just doing 2 Maxijet 600's at opposing ends of the tank. Is there anything else I should look into?

The tank DOES have a sandbed, so keep that in mind. It will not have a skimmer however. At least, not initially.

It depends on what you plan to keep... I have a 600 and a 400 on mine for Mushrooms and Zoas (with a sandbed)... The flow is kid of "narrow" and not very strong... I am hoping to upgrade to the Tunze Nano Stream 6025.

in my 33 long i have 2 maxi 900's, 1 in each back corner with hydor rotating deflectors and 1 maxi 600 in the back center blowing stright foward. had to add this as the 2 in the corners left a big dead spot in the middle
