What type of kalk do you guys use?

Brand of kalkwasser used in the reactor? Or just brand of kalk used in general (if you don't have a reactor )

simon.007 ... Mrs Wages how do yo ulike it. Past results must have been good? I was thinking of using that too in place of the kent kalk powder. I will do a group buy but how much and what sizes do they come in?

I use Ball (as in Ball Canning) pickling lime. Had to buy it from a reefer back east.

Years ago I got some pickling lime from a local who had a connection at Pepsi. They used it for something in their factory. Wonder if Golfish can get us any from Coca-Cola???

Mrs wages pickling lime, they come in 1 lb bags I think. When I bought a dozen a 1 1/2 years back, they were about $2 a bag, but I think they're over $3 a bag now

Ken, I forgive you for mentioning that evil word. You probably got food grade lime, its what we use.

I'm working on it but the person I was dealing with is out on med leave. I brought home 1450 pounds two years ago, that seems to be drying up.

I just picked up Mrs Wages pickling lime at my locaal Walmart in the housewares section with their canning supplies.
