What type of paint to use on back of tank...

What is the best type of paint to use if I want to paint the back my tank? Thanks in advance.

I've used Rustoleum flat black spray paint. Works perfectly.

I used a can of enamel and rolled mine on with a paint roller

Thanks for the input, spray paint is not an option. I guess enamel is the way to go. Now do you see any problems with my tank already being set up and me painting it? I have the room to get back there, as long as I am careful where the paint ends up that should not be a problem right?

Why dont you go to Autozone and get some 5% window tint. They sell it in blue or black.

I rolled on water based latex. Minimal fumes, soap and water cleanup, pop the roller into a ziplock bag and put it in the fridge between coats. Use blue painters tape and newspaper to mask off the areas you don't want painted (trim, sides, etc.).

Window tint is a great idea too. Sign shops carry vinyl film that's supposted to be very good (and easy to peel off).

i used admiralty blue enamel on the back of my tank . . .
i used a brush but afterwards the roller would have been a better option . . . i had to put 6 coats and here is what it looks like . . .

I vaselined my blue background onto my 300. It sort of raises in an interesting small bubble type pattern and is far less permanent if I change my mind.

I also used water based latex. Black this last time, but on other tanks I've had specific colores mixed for me. It stays on if you want it too, and peels off if you wand a differnt color later. It does take several coats.
