What type of Wrasse in BB tank?

I am curious, is there a type of wrasse that can be placed into a barebottom tank? I like the looks of the clown fairy, but need to know if they can be placed in a bb tank.

wrasse is more of a reef fish with a sandy bottom and lots of holes to poke around in.

I'm uncertain about the clown fairy but my friend has a 6 line in his bb reef that is thriving.

A six-line may adjust well, however, in transport they've got a fairly low survival rate. Definately make sure the six-line is responsive, eating and looking well before deciding to purchase one and bringing him home.

As for them being in a barebottom. I don't think that substrate or lack of would make for a difference. S'long as he's got plenty of shelter and nooks and crannies I feel he'll be fine.

I thing most wrasses doo not care. Fairy wrasses are not "sand-divers". I do have a yellow coris that dives into the sand.
