Once again I ask for an ID with no picture. I thought this little "shell" was dead for 2 weeks because it just sat there in the same spot at the front of my tank until last night. This morning this "shell" is 3/4 of the way up the front glass!
It is a white/biege teardrop shaped shell that is flatter on what I would consider the bottom. It actually is in 2 halves and was open about 1/16" this morning. It looked like it was stuck to the glass by a "foot" of some kind that was opposite the opening and toward the end of the flatter side.
It kind of reminds me of the little critters in shells that you see on the beaches of the Alabama/Florida coast that burrow after the waves crash in.
I really need to get a better camera.
