What will I get from the candy store for a 40 breeder?

Yay, glad to see my little bro got some help! Can't wait to see him start stocking his tank.
@curlykid- Would they sell you a tang for your tank? You should ask lol. From what I have read, the assesors are great reef fish. They don't kill shrimp or crabs to my knowledge. Obvioulsy the don't if steve approves of the final list. Can't be that detimental, as my little bro wants a mixed reef and a nem for his clown. How does your lfs make money if they wont sell the assesor? They are kinda spendy.

I don't know why. I have kept Blue and Gold with no issues. They are mildly cryptic, however.
Yes, neither is inexpensive. I don't often see either for sale but they do come along.

NO WAY! lol. i know the owner very well, but he takes quite a bit of convincing. the owner has told me outright that he will not sell me any fish that he thinks will not do well in my tank, same goes for coral and inverts.
For that, I am jealous. Around here LFS sell whatever works on the credit card.

My lfs is kinda in the middle about selling certain things. He has a better standard on selling rants than most. Blue hippos must be sold to an owner whose tank is at least 6 ft so that is okay. He won't sell me a rabbitfish, which is okay because I don't think I really want one. But his cure for ick is letting it run it's course. He does not believe in qt. The other lfs I go to doesn't really care but their prices are a bit better I think.
