Hi RC,
I'm confused and need some help choosing the best option for my tank... I have a 54g corner reef and have like 15 frags of sps, lots of lps, and some softies... Never dose my tank before because the salt was giving me what I need until the sps start to grow...

The water parameters:
Salt: 1.026
Cal: 380ppm
Alk: 5.8ppm
Mag: 1200ppm
Nitrate: 0ppm
PO4: 0ppm
Ph: 8.32

Ok, here start my problem...
I want to know wich would be the best choice for my tank (because I don't want to be dosing manually)...
1- Bubble magus dosing pump (in BRS for $300)
2- kalkwasser Reactor (in BRS the aquamedic kalkwasser for $240)(I have a tunze ATO to connected)
3- calcium reactor (I want a GEO, but can take any suggestions)

I really need the opinion in wich and why???

Thanks again,
Omar

Bubble magus dosing pump
you will be able to dose anything you need with these.
cal
alk
mag
trace
you really can't go wrong with a dose pump

You didn't list this, but have you considered adding kalk to your ATO water, instead of buying the kalk reactor? It's a very popular method and may or may not work for your situation and tank needs, but it's definitely something to consider.

Yes, I thought about it and few people and LFS told me that is not safe because of the particles that could get to the tank... World Wide Corals told me that they used to do that but after a while they start having problems... That make me take another safety options...

You will find a very large amount of us use kalk in our ATO, it is important to not have the hose lay on the bottom so it doesnt pick up the sediment, but it is effective until your calcium needs pass what your evaporation rate can keep up with. For your size tank I would think if Kalk in your ato is not the way you want to go then a good doser would be your next best bet.
