Ok cool I did lots of searches and most people think it is a precursor to purple coralline but others said green cyano or others said green diatoms from poor water quality. Just glad it is part of the deal

concur, green algae. normal. I would consider adding a couple cleanup crew members since you now have food for them. Possibly something to sift the sand also as it is growing on your sand. make sure your lights on time is not to long also

I have 2 turbos 2 astrea 2 cerith a 2 red leg and a couple of blue leg and emerald crab and a urchin. Lights are 8-5 blue and 9-4 daylight

I beefed up CUC 3 turbos, 6 blue leg,2 red leg, 2 trochus, 5 cerith,2 astrea,2 nassarius looking for more of these, 1 urchin, 1 emerald and the cleaner shrimp
