What would you do different?

If you had it to do all over again, what would you do different?

Would you go with a larger or smaller tank, taller or shorter, Tunze or Vortech, BeanAnimal or Herbie, bare bottom or sand bed, LED or metal halides, dual or single overflow, internal or external overflow, wood or metal stand, calcium reactor or two part, live or dry rock, filter socks or not, new or used, custom or production tank, etc...

I just want to know anything that you wish you would have done differently!

I'll start...

On my 215 (72x24x29), in order:
1. The tank is too tall, next time it will be a few inches shorter.
2. The 24" center glass brace is a pain to work around, next time it will be rimless, eurobraced, or off centered cross braced.
3. The tank isn't wide enough, next time it will be 30"-36".
4. The dual overflows are a pain to equalize, next time I going with a single large centered overflow.
