mine is sps dominated has a many frags and small colonies, I currently have a very small purple tang, a pylei wrasse, a flame hawk, a cardinalfish and a barletts anthias. all very happy.
Right now i am thinking 2 clowns, 2 bangaii or pyjama cardinals and a yellow watchman goby. am i at my limit? what else would work well in there and also be really coulourfull. I am also deciding if after growing pods in the refugium for a few months i will be able to have a mandarin? There is an LFS near me that has some that will eat frozen foods such as mysis aswell as pods.
Here are a few ideas...show me your cubes
To me this is one of those ideal reef aquarium shapes. I was torn between this and the 120g I went with. Anyways your fish load will depend on the skimmer and your husbandry, but to me your way on the light side. If the mandarin is eating frozen food then there would be no reason to wait and a guarantee like that doesn't come around that often. Some other suggestions for fish could be chromis, fairy wrasse, smaller anthesis spec, or gobies that dwell more on the rock vs. the sand.
