What would you get?

I would just get a mate for the one you already have. That's a beautiful fish!! Keep it in a good home and get another.

Well after I read this again you Want the other tomato. Get it!!! If I read correctly. Don't dump your pet cause you want a different color or something. Just get another that is a juvenile and give her a bud.

I think they jump tho so make sure you have a hood or something. No open top. I sadly lost mine years ago after it jumped out the only open spot...

Just make sure they are the same species of clown. My Cinnamon looked like that but a bit darker. And was an awesome fish.

If they are not the same species they will fight someday. And how did these Clownfish sales become part of this thread!!???????

Someone asked a great question then there is a salesman at the ready. And destroys the thread. Please just answer the persons question. HOW DID XENIA BECOME RELEVANT!!!???

And they are very active fish. They LOVE to dig the sandbed and do burnouts. So make sure they can move sand without making any rocks tumble. They are great to watch. And have great personality.

Hard to tell what size they are from the pictures... But if you have a big one you can usually put a very small one in and get them to mate.

I started the thread, and I asked what he was selling em for. So it is ok pretty much...
The first one is mature, I'd had him for a couple years. I really like the black fins. The second one with the misbar I just purchased this week, and in hypo, (a little ich) and is about 3/4 of an inch. Once he's out hopefully, they'll pair up and not go to war...

Well 3/4 inch is still a baby. Just put him in at night so he can find a good hiding spot and get used to the tank before the lights come back on. That's what I did and the baby follows the big one all around the tank. They get along great. But of course there is never a guarantee they will get along. But in my experience it has worked every time.

BTW that fish is very cool looking. A keeper for sure.

My QT was about an inch away from the main so they could see each other for about a month. Maybe that helped?

Just remember I think Tomatoes and Cinnamons can jump! I know Cinnamons do for sure. That's how I lost mine. They fly out of the water for fun. And like to dig sand with their tails. They are crazy and fun to watch. :)

I"m glad you like their digging, I can't really put a coral within 2 or 3 inches from the floor. I haven't had the other one jump in an open tank. So hopefully we won't have any problems, I really hope that second stripe really comes in. That would be cool.
