The cyborg reefer
So I'm trying to do all the light duty stuff on my tank for now while I'm not supposed to do all the stuff I want to be doing. One of my thoughts is 'equipping' the shelfs (that I don't have yet) and area behind my tank to have everything I need at an easy arms reach.
What are some of the items you always want but never have when you need when working on your tank.
Some of my ideas so far
1. Nets, tongs, measuring devices, and cleaning things all hang on the back of the tank.
2. Some setup thats always ready to go to put something in when you just want a closer look/ get a good pic for posting here for an ID (I.E hitchhikers, or the like)
3. something plumbed in the return line so I can have a hose to fill or rinse something with tank water and not have to go find a siphon hose. Also and easy way to get water for #4
4. Dedicated 'testing' station with all the handy charts hung up (oh yea, and remembering to do some testing occationally.)
5. Handy shelf with tools that are used only on the tank (5/16" driver for hose clamps etc.
5a. said hose clamps, aquamend, spray foam etc...
What are some other good ideas to add/have handy in your experience.
Where the "magic" happens... LOL
