What wrasse is this??

They vary. I'm pretty sure it's a McCosckers BUT I could be wrong. Check these out

Watch the video they have of the McCoskers and you'll see that it looks nothing like what's in the picture they have posted.

I also think it looks like a McCosker's Flasher Wrasse.

Well, it is supposed to be this wrasse. Not the yellow at the end of its tail.

That looks correct. Many Wrasse look very similiar, but after seeing that yellow on the tail it definitely looks like the Royal Flasher pictured. I'm sure he is probable closely related to the McCosker's Flasher Wrasse

i know, wrasses are crazy. Thats why i never bother to learn the different types. they are ever changing it seems. If i was paying attention at one of Kevin Cohens presentations, he was saying how they inter breed so they r always new species being "discovered"

Hey, I noticed u were a fellow Nebraska local. It's good 2 c local reef lovers I checked out your profile and noticed your into snowboarding. My little bro owns Wake N Skate board house @ The Shops of Legacy. I'm recovering from ACL surgery that happened while wakeboarding, but I am hoping to rehab in time for a late season snowboard session.

Well friggin sweet, i looked at ur profile too and saw u were into "board sports" so i figured wake and snow... I had a chance to learn to wakeboard this summer, but had extentions in my hair and i was afraid i'd lose them if i had a good knock out. But next summer for sure! Also, i am the awesome female snowboard instructor out at mt. crescent. I know... real awesome place, huh?

Hey, we gotta meet up. if ur cool, u r totally welcome to join me and a big group of folks headed to Colorado in several months for a 3-4 stay in Breck in a condo for only $75 a person.

Sorry to hear about ur acl.. my doc used to tell me if i got in one more accident on the hill, i'd walk with a limp. So, ive quit the tricks, jumps, rails, and boxes.. so sad...

Ya I was doing a huge jump180 and all my weight went right onto my right knee. Now that I'm getting older, I guess I should lay off the big tricks, but my little bro is 12 yrs younger, so he keeps me motivated and constantly pushing myself. I've only been snowboarding for 4 seasons, but I love it.

Sure looks like the flasher wrasse I had. Loved that fish but it jumped when I had the tank open during the summer to cool it down. I don't know how it ended up in the bucket 4 feet away but that was nice of it.

yea, i actually just lost a huge African Firefish last nite. it jumped. i REALLY need to put a barrier in the back of my tank... i would die if this one jumped tonite.
