What's been your best grower?

I have some Fire and Ice zoos that are doing awesome for me. They are almost growing like weeds! I fragged off three polyps that were on some "loose" matting 3 weeks ago and already have 3 babies on that frag. Placement is midway up.

My tank is a 20g, 3-4" DSB, 30-35lbs LR, no fish currently, mainly zoos with a few LPS and I'm running a 2x55W PC set-up. I feed DT'S 3-4 times a week and Oyster Feast one to two times a week.

What zoo has/is your best grower? What are your tank specs? Thanks for sharing,

Nightmares palys have been growing very good for me and blue hornets also.

My blue eyed devils do great in my tank, I cut about 10 frags a month and a half ago, ranging from 3 to 8 polyps each, all the frags have grown to 20-30 polyps on each frag. By far these are the fastest growing zoanithids I have ever had.

The next best are my "Gorilla nipple" zoanthids, (I think thats what they are called)
I only had ten polyps to start with so I cut about 6 frags out, some with 1 polyps and the most with 3. They all have at least 8 polyps on them the highest being about 15. (these were cut at the same time as the red eyed devils)

I find parazoathus to be the fastest grower, almost pest like fast!

Hey Geoxman, any idea where these green proto's are collected from? I'm guessing Western Pacific, Indonesia?

My tubs blue are my fastest growers. Every fragswap I frag over 100 polyps. They grow back in 5-6 months.

Funny, it's the exact opposite for me. They're my slowest growers. lol..
