Sorry to hear the bad news. Not trying to be a smart mouth here, but how do you know they are being eaten?

Can you list all fish and inverts?

If you can get really close with a magnifying glass, is the entire polyp missing, or are there chards left on the rock?

Look for spiders, nudis, and asterinas. That last one I did not know was possible until last week when I pulled two stars off of my prized eagle eye colony. Made me sick. Those two decimated it in about 48 hours.

I had a cowrie in my tank for over a year with no problems and one night he decided to eat half of my stock. That little sucker now lives in the sump.

I had a peppermint shrimp that once it irradicated the few aptasia I had at the time went to work on a Torch frag, then an Acan, and finally some Tubbs Blues, all in one day. It was like it was having a raging fit and had to destroy anything in it's way! I removed it to a quarantine tank that had a Magenta Dottyback that quickly made shrimp scampii out of it. Needless to say the Dottyback did not go into the display tank, and now I wish I had that peppermint to take care of the many aptasia I now have. the P.S. I have now has no interest in aptasia.

i had a zoa eating nudibranch that was eatin gmy zoas, it took me forever to figure out why they were disappearing but I finally saw him crawling and got him out of there

Same thing happen to me. To find out it was the asterinas.
Late at nite when the lights are off , go with flash light and check.
