I would like to frag some sps and not sure what I should use.Guess I could cut up my elegance skeletons have lots of them. :D

I usually make them from Aquamend. Once I get the shape of a pug disk I dip it in some sand to get sort of a natural surface look...

The bag makes it much easier to fill the nipples. You have to make the mixture a little on the wet side.
For these plugs I use 1 part sand to 3 parts portland. It seems like alot but they come out hard as a rock after 8 hours.
The nipples came from a discount store I got 24 small and 12 big for any 6.00 I think its called dollar tree where everything is a dollar. They come in a 6 pack.

I buy plugs from eBay and I also use rubber coated neodymium magnets. The magnets I've been using for a couple weeks now and they've been working well for me thus far. I'll probably pick up more next time as I've already used all 20 of the magnets I bought. I also like not having a frag rack in the tank anymore.

Hiep has the ceramic one. Those are better than the one on Ebay. If you buy from Ebay, make sure you cure them real good. They are not ready to use. I put them in the toilet bow for several weeks before using them.

Toilet bowl?! Are you serious?!

My brother is a plumber, I can see him screaming at me now. Last time we used them drop in tablets in our tank and it screwed up some seals he had to repair. :)

hahahahah.. I use the ceramic ones as well.. I think I ordered them for the filterguys or something like that... Boston aqua farms has plugs as well.. They say they are cured but to keep them soaking in water before use. The ceramic ones take no curing..
