I see this forum has officially croaked lol. Whats everyone been doing lately? Any new additions up that way? I've been crazy busy myself. Bet its getting cold up that way about now, time of the year where you stay inside and play with the tank. Well just seeing what was new

P.S. added an elegance coral to my tank today, first piece I've added to my personal tank in 2 months. He looked like he needed some TLC at the store so I brought it home :) now got my fingers crossed that my wanatabei angels come in tomorrow

Basement flood/sump pump replace, carpet removal, tank move, tank update, working 16 hrs./day this week....

what happened to your buddy Mike.... Mr. Procrastination?????

I don't really have the money to do what i want to do.. So im gonna try to build a canopy for my 75 and get some retrofit 175W MH and some VHOs then try to find an overflow box and sump the tank to a 30 gallon tank that i have sitting around. so if anyone knows anyone looking for a 125 gal let me know

Cool.... I'll pass the word. Been a nightmare here tearing the tank down. I'm not sure I even want to set ip back up. Carpet guys are here now laying new carpet in the basement. When they are gone my works resumes....

Ya it sucks but financially i dont really have the money to do it and i figured i can just make my 75 nice especially because i dont have a hair algea problem. so once i get the canopy all set up and stuff ill be in good shape.

Ya im actually being mature. that and my girlfriend wants me to save for the "FUTURE" i think she has things planned and didnt fill me in on them

o boy... your lifes all over lol. Dude if I were you I'd sell the halide setup you have now, get yourself two 150 HQI's and some decent actinics (not the junk you have now that makes the water look like a 70's disco ball) Then I would invest in some quality liverock and just use what you got as the base, I mean go get some heavily encrusted coraline because you have terrible skills at growing it yourself. Then you'll have the groundwork set for a nice tank. If I only had a way to get you the premium indo rock I've got at the store, its encrusted with coraline, various macro algeas, sponge, and some pieces even have live corals growing on them.

I'm not saying go hog wild now but your only a couple bills away from getting the tank in check, all you need is a couple of decent things to get you in the right direction. heck most people's tanks down here don't even have skimmers and they are in perfect condition with corals everywhere.

As for the girlfriend issue, your on your own champ lol welcome to the world of women.....
