whats going on with my zoas?

I picked these two polyps a couple weeks ago and sometimes they open up real nice and most of the time theyre just half way open but i never have that problem with my other zoas, is it just that they require different amounts of light

Try moving them to a new spot, more or less light and more or less flow. Don't make a big change to fast move them a little and see what happens, then try again.

Two weeks isn't a long time. They might still be adjusting to your water. I'd leave them be for now.

Did you dip them before adding to your tank? You may have some hitch hikers that are irritating the zoas. Use a magnifying glass to check around the polyps. For dipping, I like either ReVive or Bayer insecticide but there are also other choices. Dip once, then dip a few days later to get any eggs.

I didn't so that may be the case since its still doing the same
