What's happening to my Xenia?

Hello everyone,
Can anyone tell me whats happening to my Xenia?? Is it growing another branch?

Just want to know in case something bad is happening to it.

It's trying to attach to the rock. Give it a couple of days & it'll be attached. Then it might even "walk" around over time, leaving a trail of tissue that will grow into more Xenia.

Hey thanks for the reply.
The rock that looks "beside" it is actually pretty far back. It is completely out in the open and that "protrusion" is pointing right across the tank into open water. Maybe its confused!

No idea though, maybe just growing.
you know how sometimes a snail will get to the end of a rock, then just streeeetch out and look around for something else to grab on? maybe it's just dooing that...yeah, it's confused:lmao:
