whats happening

i just got a bta about 4inches wide 2 days ago from my lfs and it acclimated nicely and appeared great und my t5s. but at night it seems to kind of deflate and shrink its tentacles, is that normal? it plumps back up during the day but today it seemed the tentacles were not as full as the first day.

it will inflate and deflate its normal. But it should stay inflated more than deflated. it could take some time to adjust, what type of light did the BTA come from, that could be the reason, its adjusting to light

today it looked alot worse. it was shriveled down to 1/3 its size and its tentacles looked like deflated party balloons.also its mouth was open.

all parameters fine temp 80

Raise the temp to about 82. Mine seems to be doing fine at 82 and have read that 82 is the best temp for them.
