Whats in your 125?

In my 125 reef I have:

2 clowns
1 royal gramma
1 hippo tang
3 lyretail anthias
1 dottyback
1 flameback angel
1 coral beauty angel

Have fun setting up your tank and stocking it.

I want to add 3 more fish - I am thinking: Blonde Naso, a Wrasse (either radiant or scotts - hope I can find one), and/or a frozen food eating mandarin (also hope to find one). Oh yea, maybe a golden head sleep goby.

Have fun setting up your tank and stocking it.

He HATES the camera- swims away every time. So, here are a couple blurry shots (more black than dalmation anymore, still spotted fins and lips)

Good thread- its cool to see so many variations...

When I get my 125 reef up and ready, It will house the fish in my 75

Arc eye Hawkfish
Blue Damsel
2 Ocellaris Clowns
Flame Angel
will add-
Catdocs Yellow Tang [that used to be mine]

I would eventually like to add my all time favorite fish a Powder Blue Tang

in my tank, i got 1blueface angelfish, one yellow tang, 1` lyretail anthis, 1 bluetang, 1 maroon clown, 1sargassum trigger, 3 chromis, 1diamindback goby, 1 mandarin. were you considering on a reef, or a fowlr?

my tank is going to be a reef...the only fish that I am settled on is a blue hippo tang, and the two clowns and lawnmowever blenny that I already have in my 40.

I am in a toss up between a keyhole and yellow, kind of leaning toward keyhole as i see yellows everywhere. Also thinking about some chromis.

my 125 softie reef
4"african clarkii
4"coral beauty
5"pink tail trigger
3" hawiian toby
3"cheveron tang (allmost)
5" red and purple reef lobster

My 125 houses the following:

Lawnmower Blenny
Bi-Color Pseudochromis
Tru-Perc Pair
Mandarin Goby
Flame Hawk
Purple Tang
Naso Tang
Hippo Tang

if considering a reef, don't get any angelfish. some people are lucky like me, and get one that hardly eats any of your favourite corals (except the elegance) on the other hand, some people get the angel that likes everything. sometimes, corals may be too expensive to sacrifice to such a fish.

so far i have settled on my clown pair, lawnmower blenny, blue tang, and keyhole tang. Might get some chromis (~6) to add some movement to the tank.

If i add anything else it might be a goby or something maybe a madarin down the road a ways.

any opinions?

if you're still starting, a mandarin would definitely not be a good choice. it has demanding requirements and needs a lot of pods/ flatworms to eat

As far as angels go, any of the Genicanthus species are a good choice. I love my japanese swallow tail and plan on getting another male soon.
